Ranger Bok is the steady heartbeat of the Squatch Watch Patrol. With his map tucked under one arm and his walking stick in hand, he knows every bend of the creek and every whisper of the wind.

Foshi may be small, but she sees everything. From her perch high in the branches—or on Bok’s shoulder—she keeps watch over the trails and helps young explorers notice the tiny wonders they might otherwise miss.

Long before Honobia Creek had cabins, campfires, or Junior Rangers, the forest was simply a quiet place full of secrets. One misty morning, Ranger Bok followed a trail of unusual footprints—small, round, and glowing faintly in the dawn light. The tracks led him to a tiny owl tangled in a patch of creek moss.

That owl was Foshi.

Bok gently freed her, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Foshi became his eyes in the treetops, and Bok became her steady ground. Together, they discovered hidden springs, watched over wandering hikers, and learned the rhythms of the forest.

When the first families arrived at Honobia Creek, Bok and Foshi stepped forward to welcome them. They created the Squatch Watch Patrol Junior Ranger Program, inviting kids to explore, protect, and celebrate the land with curiosity and courage.

Today, they continue their mission—guiding Junior Rangers, watching the trails, and keeping an eye out for the legendary forest friend who leaves those mysterious footprints…
